Forever21 v-neck tee | Country Road drawstring pants | Valleygirl tan loafers | Lovisa gold choker cuff | Kmart watch

This is a scheduled post (currently in Japan) of an outfit I wore last week. Once again just a simple and neutral outfit and comfortable to wear! I hope everyone is having a good rest and not too stressed out in preparing for the upcoming Christmas week!!

HOLY ROLLER

Sportsgirl striped singlet dress |H&M knit cardigan | Sportsgirl jelly sandals | Sportsgirl triangle necklace

Just a simple outfit for my current lazy summer holiday days of brunch dates with friends and doing nothing. If only I could live my life like this forever.. Except I will be heading off to Japan (Hokkaido to be specific) on Wednesday which will be a drastic change in scenery and weather! I'm excited to experience proper snow for the first time and will definitely post pictures when I come back after Christmas!!

CECILIA

Sass & Bide Martina dress | Rubi black heels | Sportsgirl rose gold belt | Colette black clutch | Lovisa double rose gold cuff | H&M tassel earrings

My friend's formal was tonight and here are some photos my mother kindly took of me. She reminded me so much of Regina George's mum as my mother clicked away telling me what poses to make (you know that scene!). It was such a great night, and since it was my school's brother school's formal, pretty much all the partners they took were from my school as well. It was like a sequel to my own formal, and it was so lovely seeing everyone all dressed up again.

This dress (which I of course snapped up on sale) is actually quite versatile. Since the bottom consists of four strips of fabric, I can belt it in different ways and style it with something like flat sandals for a more casual approach. I am quite looking forward to wearing it again, because the sneaky pockets proved to be extremely useful throughout the night for stashing bobby pins, lipstick, my phone etc.

Hope you've all had a lovely week so far!

SECOND DAY UPTOWN

Mossman black singlet | Dotti tropical print jeans | Kmart black pointed flats | Sportsgirl wishbone necklace | Lovisa cross bracelet

With all my assessment complete and only this week left to go, I can't believe that twelve years of schooling has amounted to this, and it almost feels surreal that I've completed such a huge chapter of my life. Luckily I have a series of events lined up to distract myself from the scary reality of graduating, including a formal coming up in two days, schoolies (+ coldplay!), and followed by family getaways.

In the lead up to this however, I went shopping for thank you gifts for my teachers and this is what I wore. I have been eyeing these jeans for the longest time and so when they went on sale I just had to swoop them up! They were marked as $29.95 but were on the $19.95 rack, so the lady gave them to me for that which was a bit of a bonus! Oh, and I discovered the most incredible place for second hand books (bought my English teacher a copy of Hamlet scribbled with the most beautiful cursive notes)and I honestly fell in love with the place. There's just something about things with a bit of history that just draws me in - to the point where I spent 3 hours (literally) lost inside the place without realising!

Happy Monday(almost Tuesday... So close) everyone!!

FRIVOLOUS LIFE

Forever 21 white v-neck tee | Minkpink purple shorts | Famous Footwear leopard print loafers | Sportsgirl camel tote bag | Lovisa gold choker necklace | Kmart gold watch

I am wearing this tee back to front again, which has become the only way I wear it these days. Pairing them with these purple shorts gives me an outfit that I can just throw on and know that I'll be comfortable in the hot weather that is to come.

I CAN MAKE YOU LOVE ME

British India - I Can Make You Love Me

Bardot grey tee | Thailand Markets white lace shorts | Cotton On denim biker jacket | Forever New yellow studded bag | Rubi taupe wedge sneakers | Sportsgirl rose gold wishbone necklace | Temt round sunglasses

I've been enjoying the past week of holidays doing things I actually want to do such as lunch dates with my gurrls/ shopping with mother/ reading Pride & Prejudice (why does Mr Darcy have to be fictional...) and so on. It feels so weird that the things I'm counting down to right now include finishing high school, schoolies (!!!), and a three month summer holiday. So close.....

BAGUETTE?

Sportsgirl red knit | H&M faux leather shorts | Rubi metal cuff sandals | HK Boutique House of Harlow 1960 inspired necklace (similar here)

It's spring right now in Australia, but on the one day that was a bit gloomy and a little rainy, I took the opportunity to wear this knit I picked up from Sportsgirl (on sale with one left in my size.. I convinced myself that it was meant to be) during a shopping trip immediately after my final exam! The busy term that is thankfully over now deprived me of my usual clicking through endless online stores, and certainly of stepping foot in any store. So with all of that done and dusted, I can now do whatever I want (almost) yaaaaaay. Including more posts! Which by the way, I apologise for still having phone photos - my sister is on holidays and took the proper camera with her. I guess using a self-timer app is an upgrade from mirror shots though, right? Speaking of photo quality, the photos of the knit isn't really showing up true to colour which in real life it's more of a muted grey-ish red. The colour in the photos is making me think of Houston Rockets which I am so excited about the upcoming season with the one and only J Liiiiin woooooo!! Yeah not going to lie, a bit of a fan girl right herrre.
